Hey there!

Woah, hi there, old blog. I'm so sorry for neglecting this. I'm really horrible about keeping blogs. I'm not sure I'll start again. I just wanted to leave a comment on another blogger's post and I had to sign in and then I figured since I have the time, I'll give an update. So, last time I posted it was birthday, which was an awesome day. Since then things haven't changed that much. I'm still very much in love with my boyfriend. It'll be a year next month and I couldn't be happier. I'm still working at the library. Things are the same there. I've started on the bookmobile which is pretty cool. I have to wake up early which I've been struggling with but I get to work with kids which is interesting. Never had that experience before. Only Dwane but he's barely turning three. Kids are entertaining that's for sure. So the bookmobile is fun. Nothing much else to report. Except oh yeah I applied to grad school! I'm very proud of myself for finally getting the courage to do it. I haven't been accepted yet but I think it'll happen. And then it's just a matter of paying for it which is the scariest part for me since I"m on my own with this.  And I plan on moving out at the end of the year. Shawn's (the bf) lease ends in November so we're hoping to move in together. I hope it all works out and I can afford it. Oh and I'm going to South Korea in a couple of weeks. Crazy, right? I never though I'd travel so far. It's all very exciting. Life is changing so much and I am anxious to get it all going. Anyway, I'm not sure I'll have time to update this blog. Maybe every six months is okay. haha. 

I'm baaAaaAck!!

Hello there, long time no type. I know I failed here for a bit but I'm back now with much more maturity. I'm 23 now! As of yesterday that is. So far it's...awesome! Life has treated me well since I stopped blogging. Maybe I shouldn't start again. haha. I have fallen  for a special guy, my brother left to korea (not awesome, I miss him tons) BUT I get his room. Currently waiting for me to paint it. My bday was awesome. Went to Catalina, ate some delicious dinner, got my nails done, got some awesome presents. So I will try to update more. Now i gotta go dance.

Everyone is doing an instagram post so why not me? Here is my uber exciting life in the past few months. That last one was taken in Brooklyn, which was all the way back in December.

Exciting, no? So I don't have pictures of amazing landscapes or anything breathtaking but I think my life is pretty awesome. I appreciate the little things like cereal and shoes. :)

The Possibilities

Hello there! Long time no update. I've been pretty busy lately. What with going to the movies, playing softball, bowling (I got a strike last night!), babysitting, oh and school & work, I haven't had much time for my lil' ol' blog. Life is pretty sweet right now. I'm hoping it can only get better. Things I'm looking forward to:

• The Avengers!! Going to the midnight showing like all true geeks must do.

• Tomorrow I might go to Disneyland for a bit. I have Saturday off (for the first time in forever) so I'm going to my cousin's cheer competition at Knott's Berry Farm. I'm so lucky to live in Southern Cali.

Possible fun in the future:

• Angels baseball games. I'm shooting to attend one game a month. Who knows, we may just win a game or two.

• Going to Florida for the Summer. I'm gonna be honest: Not a big fan of Florida. Too humid, mosquitoes...ect. BUT I really want to see a manatee before I die so this might be my only chance.

• Possibly heading to England. My bestie (who I went to NY with) has a wild hair to go to the UK for our next trip. Don't know when or how (since I'm kinda broke at the moment). But once she gets an idea, she doesn't let it go. So here's to more travels and adventures! :)

Write About Love

Hello there! It's been a while. I shouldn't even be here--I have a paper to write. Which is why I'm here. Procrastination is king. I know I've neglected you, dear blog. I'm still trying to get my shi** together. I think my first step may be to wake up before 10am. I'll try that tomorrow. 
In the mean time here is a playlist I'm working on. My favorite love songs. It's still under construction but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Let's just say I'm feeling very lovely lately. ;) This could also explain why I've been neglecting my blogging. I've been distracted and it's about time.

Oh Woe Is Me

I am a very bad blogger. Here I am only a couple of months into this enterprise, and I'm already slacking. I do this a lot. Whenever I have free time I start a project and never finish or keep up with it. It's a curse. I'm not even sure why I don't have enough time anymore. Nothing much has changed. I work maybe a little more often and babysit more often....I guess that's enough to end my life as a blogger? I hope not. But one thing I will not do is stress about it. I have enough in my life to think about other than "omg, I need to update my blog".
 So, I'm going to take a relaxed approach to this blogging thing. Maybe a post once or twice a week. I really do want to continue this. I just need to get control over my life and I need to learn how to better manage my time. That's why I started this whole thing--to better myself. There's going to be ups and downs. This is definitely a down. But the show will go on!  

Breakfast With the Ladies

This morning a few friends and I decided to get together for a home-made breakfast. It was so much fun my face hurts from laughing. I hadn't seen these wonderful women (I can't believe we're women now) for a long while. It was a reunion much belated. 

We had waffles and fruit.

I brought veggie sausage patties, eggs  and hash browns to make tiny breakfast sandwiches.

Some of us had a little waffle with our whip cream.

It was a beautiful Spring day and I was so happy to spend it with some old friends. We've known each other for over ten years now and even though we don't see each other as often, it's good to know we'll always be friends. Hopefully there are more days like this in the near future. :)

I'm excited for Easter tomorrow. For me it's all about family. It's kind of sad when all the kids in the family are grown up. But we're trying to make the best of it by having an Easter Egg hunt for adults. Inside the eggs will be chapsticks and lottery tickets. It'll definitely be interesting.
